About Amendment Media

Something is wrong with the American information landscape, and most people can feel it even if they cannot name it precisely. The loudest voices in media — left and right — spend their energy on culture war battles that have no resolution, no winner, and no end. Abortion. Guns. Pronouns. Immigration. The fights that divide us most deeply are amplified most loudly, every hour of every day, on every platform designed to capture our attention.

In the quiet background, an entirely different game is being played. Corporations are extracting wealth from ordinary Americans at a scale and sophistication that has no historical precedent. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are trading stocks on inside information, collecting checks from the industries they regulate, and building personal fortunes while the people they represent struggle to afford insulin, housing, and simple groceries and gas. Artificial intelligence is eliminating entire categories of work — hushed, rapidly, and without the disclosure or accountability that workers deserve. The institutions built to protect ordinary people have been captured by the interests they were designed to constrain.

This is not a left problem or a right problem. It is an American problem. And it is not an accident.

Amendment Media exists because someone has to cover it without the partisan lens that makes the truth so much harder to see. We cover corporate extraction, political corruption, and the displacement of American workers by artificial intelligence. We follow the money across party lines. We name the names regardless of which team they play for. We document the votes, the donors, the revolving door, and the human cost of decisions made in boardrooms and congressional offices far from the people they affect.

What we do not cover is the culture war. Not because those issues don’t matter to people — they do — but because they are not the battlefield where the real war is being fought. The real war is economic. It is being waged against ordinary Americans by powerful institutions and the political class that serves them. Every hour spent fighting about culture is an hour not spent noticing what is being taken.

Amendment Media is for the union worker and the small business owner. For the Republican voter who knows something is amiss with the system and the Democratic voter who feels the same thing deep in their bones. For the person who has been failed by a hospital, crushed by debt, displaced by technology, or simply tired of being told that the person across the street is their enemy while the people '“above” them go unexamined and cast their agendas freely upon the earth.

At the same time, we believe there are things worth more than what the market can measure. Amendment Media exists to protect them.

How We Work

Every factual claim published in Amendment Media is sourced to a named, verifiable origin — a government filing, a congressional record, a court document, a poll, or reporting from an established news organization. We do not publish claims we cannot document. We do not use anonymous sources to make accusations. We follow the evidence where it leads, regardless of which party or institution it implicates.

We make mistakes. When we do, we correct them — fully, promptly, and without burying the correction. If a published piece contains a factual error, the correction will appear in the body of the original article with the date it was made, so the record is clear to anyone who reads it. We do not delete errors silently. We do not issue clarifications in place of corrections when a correction is what is warranted.

If you believe something we have published is factually incorrect, we want to know. Reach us at tips@amendmentmedia.com. Include the specific claim, the article it appeared in, and the evidence you believe contradicts it. We will review every submission and respond when a correction is warranted.
